Cliff was very good about staying in contact and following up with the work. His design assistance was really valuable, and he worked with our budget quite well. Our new bathroom looks great, and the closet design is very efficient. Though there was a small leak behind the shower wall after the plumbing was hooked up Randy was on the site within a few hours to fix the problem once it was discovered.

The Guys were very trustworthy, skilled, and accommodating. Overall, the quality of the work was excellent. We were never uncomfortable with the guys in our house at any time.
We love our new kitchen. It was a major job: removing load bearing walls, cutting through our brick exterior, etc.

Cliff and his team met and exceeded our expectations. We had a challenging situation – we had an acidic well that was destroying our copper pipes; the entire copper pipes had to be replaced and we live on a slab. He came and discussed the project via a walk through and the provided, in writing, a plan along with sketches – he did what he said and then more.
Cliff was able to do a walk through with ideas on how to manage this without us having to abandon the house – all of the work was done while we were living there. As time progressed, there were some adjustments – but mostly due to finding ways to do things more creatively or dealing with problems in the house (we did a lot of work when we bought it due to its being run down and had firsthand experience of the surprises this house had in store).
We found he and the crew to do what they said they would do and very communicative as to where things stood. We were not the only project they had and they were a couple of minor schedule variations – but we were made aware of these ahead of time.

I met Mr. and Mrs. Cinamon at the Convention Center in January 2008. It was a builders show. They were very personable and seemed very sincere. I called for an appointment several months later, as I had not positively decided to have the work done. They came on time. Mr. Cinamon was quick to give ideas and thoughts on my project. Within a week or two he had plans drawn up with an estimate cost. He is incredibly thorough. My old deck was removed and the installation of the new project began. I am very happy with the end result and think it is the best money I have spent in a very long time!

I am writing to let you know how much we enjoy our new tub and the remodeling you did in our master bathroom. My husband is able to get in and out of the tub and the seat is a must have for his problems. I have arthritis and the hydrotherapy is wonderful. It really does help relieve the pain in my knees and hips. We should have done this years ago. It makes bathing a pleasure.

Cliff,
I just wanted to write to say that we do love the room. I must say the the job you and your men did was very impressive from start to finish. Not looking at the last month, I look at the pictures I took throughout the process and, wow, the job you did was quite an accomplishment. I do thank you and please let everyone who was here working and did such a great job that we thank them, too. Again, thank you and your crews and have a great Christmas and even better New Year.

Cliff,
Thanks for managing to figure out how to take out the "extra" roof. That probably came as a surprise. After seeing the area over the den I thought I would ask about vaulting the den and doing the glass between the den and kitchen as we discussed before. Is it to late to do a change order? Your son said that they may be putting in the dry wall tomarrow so I thought I should ask soon. BTW I am very impressed with your son. He is extremely professional and polite.

Comments from Awards Judging:
Good layout and open floor plan. Nice cabinetry and trim details. Warm color scheme.
Great project and an extremely satisfied homeowner. Very good design and implementation. Liked the creative solutions used for the site. Nice work!
Mr. Cinamon came out promptly in response to our request and had suggestions and solutions to offer right away. He guided us in the selection of tile and colors which was especially helpful to us since we have no design talent and he has a degree in interior design. He gave us options to select from and we never felt that he was attempting to bend us to his opinions. We felt he was truthful and eager to see us happy with the result. Mr. Cinamon and crew were prompt and started on schedule. They came early and some days they stayed late if it was necessary. They made every effort to make the demolishing part of the job as un-eventful as possible. Mr. Cinamon scheduled the workers such as the plumber and electrician skillfully and always told us when to expect someone. If they were not able to be there at that time or date we were notified so we wouldn't expect them. They cleaned up after themselves as much as possible and laid down protective plastic on rugs and wood floors. Anyone who has ever had a remodeling job done and lived in the middle of it knows that things don't always go according to plan, and everyone needs to be forgiving of the inconveniences. Mr. Cinamon is flexible and easy to work with. He has a winning personality and his motto seems to be "to leave no evidence that we've been there" and he works to that end. If there is a glitch or problem he wants to solve it right away. We would look to Design and Remodeling Solutions for any future remodeling jobs we plan and recommend them to anyone.
